T.G.I.F. ‘Thank Goodness It’s So Fabulous!’

**THIS FABULOUS FRIDAY I HAVE FOUND… ROYALTY!**

Just so you ALL know…. I am a royal wedding and royal family addict! Yes, I am not scared to admit it! My daughter, Grayanna, and I slept in our tiaras last night and were up at 4am this morning to glimpse the dress and watch the long and celebrated processional. My family has already ordered royal books and, hopefully, a royal Kate doll in honor of my obsession. I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!! Maybe it’s an extra special event to me, because I remember my Mom and aunt waking me up early to watch every second of Diana’s wedding. They explained to me that it was “history-in-the-making”. So, for me, the royal wedding is definitely a BIG DEAL, and therefore, I am devoting today’s blog post to all things royal! And on that note…. “Hail to the Queen!”

****“It’s So Fabulous!” ROYAL WEDDING DRESS of the Week:**** For anyone out there who may have missed the royal wedding early this morning, I am posting a link to this article in the [Huffington Post](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/04/29/sarah-burton-kate-middleton-wedding-dress_n_855299.html?utm_campaign=042911&utm_medium=email&utm_source=Alert-style&utm_content=Title) that shares all the details about this breathtaking gown designed by Sarah Burton and worn by Kate Middleton.

Here is a partial excerpt of the description of the gown:
_….The lace design was hand-engineered (appliquéd) using the Carrickmacross lace-making technique, which originated in Ireland in the 1820s. Individual flowers have been hand-cut from lace and hand-engineered onto ivory silk tulle to create a unique and organic design, which incorporates the rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock._

Hand-cut English lace and French Chantilly lace has been used throughout the bodice and skirt, and has been used for the underskirt trim.
