T.G.I.F. ‘Thank Goodness It’s So Fabulous!’
THIS FABULOUS FRIDAY I HAVE FOUND….
‘Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed…something BLUE!’
“It’s So Fabulous!” DIY Project of the Week: I am obsessed with blue-and-white porcelain! Absolutely love it! I think it is elegant, timeless, and oh-so-versatile. As I was browsing the internet for “blue” photos, I ran across a blog called The Life of Riley. In one of her blog posts, she shows a photo (below) of a vase she purchased at Homegoods for a mere $16. She then took the vase to a local lamp shop, where she had it wired and transformed into a the lovely lamp you see below! Including materials and labor, the cost of the entire custom project was under $100! WOW! “It’s So Fabulous!” ENTERTAINING AT HOME Photo of the Week: As you may have heard me mention before, I think blue-and-white porcelain blends with almost any decor, and it is even able to act as a neutral in most cases. One reason that I particularly love blue-and-white porcelain is its ability to seamlessly incorporate into a variety of locations with an array of purposes. For instance, when you find yourself planning a dinner party, consider utilizing your blue-and-white porcelain as part of the table setting for your guests. Take a look at the fabulous photo pictured below, as it was featured in Veranda. Isn’t it just divine?! “It’s So Fabulous!” KNOTTING HILL INTERIORS ROOMS of the Week: Shown below are a couple of my favorite blue rooms that I designed for clients at Knotting Hill Interiors.
