Enchanted is the word most often used to describe Knotting Hill. It’s a mix of everything women love; clothing, jewelry, gifts, candles, lamps, accessories and all things home including rugs, furniture and fabric.
Conceived to be an extension of the already successful design business created by Kimberly Grigg, many of Kimberly’s clients begged her to shop for them and to at least buy things as gifts that they could give to their friends and family. At first, “I just picked up cool things wherever I happened to be”, says Kimberly. Soon this concept became so popular that I began to search the world over to find unique and beautiful items that customers could purchase on a daily basis. Eventually, this part of the business grew from a small 2500 square foot space to 6500 square feet in 2011 and then again in 2015 to 17,000 square feet!
With a penchant for good taste and a “good eye”, Kimberly transferred her love of fashion and style to the retail floor and now has an entire boutique of clothing and jewelry as part of the mix. Highly trained fashion stylists can dress you head to toe and they even offer a wardrobing service where they help you declutter your closet and select the right pieces that not only suit your lifestyle but look fantastic on you every time you wear them.
Equally as important, Kimberly believes everyone should live beautifully no matter their station in life. For years Kimberly offered only a custom interior design service. Many others wanted to take advantage of Kimberly’s good taste and soon, Kimberly began stocking the retail floor with fabric, furniture and merchandise so that the customer who likes “doing her own thing to decorate” can shop and find her own treasures. Next came upscale consignment furniture! Many treasures abound in this area, but come quickly as they don’t last long! Knotting Hill also offers a retail design service for those customers who like a little help pulling it all together. Our in house workroom can turn your fabric selections into a beautiful customized window treatments and various other accoutrements for your home.
To round out the offerings at Knotting Hill, Kimberly insisted that her customers and clientele be able to purchase a gift that the giver is truly proud to give and that the recipient is truly proud to receive. The gift “treasure” division of Knotting Hill was born! Wrapped always in our signature brown box , each gift is wrapped to perfection so that you are excited to give or receive.
