Top 5 Places to Showcase Your Holiday Decor
Does the thought of decorating your home for the fall season…. Followed by RE-decorating it for Christmas…. make you feel a little frazzled?! If so, you are NOT alone! We would all love to click our ruby red slippers together – and voila! – the house is magically decorated for Halloween and Thanksgiving! And then we gracefully wave our magic wands – and Bippity Boppity Boo! – the fall decorations are gone and instantly replaced with red and green decor! In fact, showcasing a few key areas of your home – rather than inserting holiday decorations in every nook and cranny – often makes your select decorations stand out and feel much more special. MY TOP 5 HIGH IMPACT PLACES TO DECORATE FOR THE HOLIDAYS: 1. THE FRONT DOOR * The front door is the first thing that guests see when they arrive at your home… Or even just drive by. If you decorate nothing else for the holidays, let it be your front door. You can buy a pre-made wreath, make your own, or get creative with you what you use to adorn your front door. THE FOYER If your guests come no further than the front door, they will still catch a glimpse of your foyer. The foyer is the area that welcomes others into your home, so make the most of it by giving it a bit of holiday pizzazz! 3.
