Springtime in Interior Design: A Knitted Wonderland
For most people, springtime brings to mind many different things. Some of the thoughts that immediately pop into my mind are outdoor entertaining, invigorating colors, renewal of life, and fresh flowers.
In honor of the first week of spring 2011, take a look at these unique photos of a public knitta display that was recently showcased in Austin, Texas. Ninety-nine trees were covered in this fabulous, spring-inspired yarn. Textile artist, Magda Sayeg, of Knitta Please, led this site-specific installation of colorful yarn with the help of over 170 local volunteer knitters.
