Plate It!

Plate It!

If you are searching for a creative way to cover a wall space, consider a collage of plates as an alternative to paintings or mirrors! In fact, a plate collage can often be an economical choice if you incorporate plates you already own into your design. There is no need for all of your plates to be expensive, or even matching. Actually, blending plates of different styles adds additional character and interest. Plate collages are extremely versatile options. They can add movement, a touch of sophistication, or a splash of color to any room. These displays can be used to cover an entire wall, or simply to fill a small or awkward space. There is no rule on how many plates are necessary to create a plate collage. Use as few or as many as you wish, and get as creative as you want with the overall shape! Plate collages blend with almost any design style, depending upon the presentation of the plates. Take a look at all of the fabulous – and diverse! – examples shown below….
