How to Set a Fall Tabletop!
First, one must decide what feeling their tabletop will have… Rustic, Romantic, Eclectic, Formal etc… Once you determine the style of entertaining you can really get inspired with the details! Take this rustic, outdoor barn tabletop for example. Mismatched chairs, simple linen runner, easy florals, and a lot of character make this tabletop special. A blue and white table, anyone? Pull out your favorite pieces (off the walls if you have to!). I adore these monogrammed linens. How about this romantic, floral scene? I love the use of the pumpkin rather than a vase! Another way to achieve the romantic look is with plenty of candle light… Use an unexpected color for an eclectic tabletop. Like plum, for instance! So fresh. We must not forget the small details that really tell your guests that you went ‘the extra mile’. How cute are these mini pumpkins as signage holders. I love the use of pine cones in Autumn. I would probably use these as place-cards and tie an additional paper with each name in script. Just this tiny piece of velvet ribbon holding your sterling is another way to dress things up! How sweet are these little rosemary wreath place cards? Lastly, and my most favorite idea… place-cards written on pumpkins! Perfect for a casual night at home with a hot bowl of soup.
