Fresh Front Porches!

With Spring right around the corner, I can’t wait to see all of the fresh front porch ideas starting to emerge! If you are wanting more curb appeal, it’s all about the porch! Here in the South, there are so many ways to make your exterior inviting and welcoming. It’s a tradition that us southerner’s are quite proud of. Here are some of my favorite ideas to add curb appeal to your home… First up, is dramatic lighting. I adore lanterns for the front porch, the bigger the better in my opinion! I love that lighting can make such a huge focal point. Below are a few images that I think mastered the lantern look on their entry-way! I LOVE these gas lanterns, so beautiful! How romantic is this porch lighting?! Now, let’s talk about planters! Fresh (or faux) greenery can really amp up your entry way. It’s a way to incorporate color and creativity easily! I especially love boxwoods for front porches. They are so classic and clean-lined. But I also love whimsically florals that hang and drape over the planters. Both looks are equally beautiful, it’s simply a personal preference! How cute is this cluster of boxwoods… Lastly, I absolutely love a painted front door! It can be neutral and sophisticated or bold and fun! Either way, front doors can really make a statement. How amazing is this copper covered porch?!
