You know I am all about everything fabulous! This new series will share articles, products, ideas and inspirations to turn up the fabulous in your own life! This will definitely not be the last time I will share from Food52, my new website crush. They have everything from to-die-for recipes, provision for the everyday cook to great articles like this one that shares simple tips on creating the perfect flower arrangement. This might even warrant a trip to the local florist so I can try out some of their ideas! If I am going to take the extra time arranging flowers, then I have to make up for it somewhere. Southern Living Magazine online has 33 “one-dish-meals” that could potentially be my saving grace this spring with my kids back in school, book tour and business booming! I am completely in love with this ceramic egg tray from Dulce Delight. What a smart statement piece for your farm fresh eggs (which we can grab up here every Wednesday at our locals farmers market!). The best part – it’s $9.95. Who says you have to “break” the bank to be fabulous? With the launch of my new book, The Secrets of Southern Design, I am going to be finding myself on the road quite often over the next year. I checked in with Travel & Leisure to get some tip on travel etiquette and found out how to deal with just about everything on the road from coping with an inattentive waiter at a restaurant to dealing with a snoring seat mate on an airplane. With two children living under my roof, I have to make sure to stay on top of their relationship with technology. I know this is a blog about interior design, but if your kids are so busy playing with their iPhones to notice the effort you have made to create a beautiful and comfortable enviornment for them… is it worth it? Some of these statistics are pretty shocking!
