Blue & Green Shutters for Summer!

Maybe it’s a Southern thing, but colored shutters are just so fun and fresh! Of course, I may be biased as I’m in the South, but don’t these colorful shutters make you happy?! Lately, I’ve seen a huge trend with either blue or green exterior shutters. I adore both options but am a bit partial to blue. What do you think?! I know this color below is pretty electric! A color like Wythe Blue or Palladian Blue can help you achieve the color below… Can anyone say Myrtle Beach sun room?! Board & Batten is a great rustic approach. Going green also comes naturally to me! Try this subtle hint of sage… These arched shutters look very french, southern, and inviting! Even if you have Georgian or Federal style architecture, you can still amp it up with some colorful shutters. So fresh and so American.
