Before and After Interior Design Part Two: Window Treatments are a Fabulous Touch!

What a difference window treatments make!

While a can of paint can produce dramatic results for a space, window treatments are the crowning jewel! Without them, a room feels unfinished and slightly lack luster. This paint color (Jungle Green by Sherwin Williams) is beautiful but very strong. Before the window treatments the color overtakes the room and becomes a focal point in and of itself. With the window treatments in place, the room has balance. In addition, it feels complete now. Notice that these treatments don’t overshadow the windows. Many people think that dressing the window will affect their light and affect their view. This couldn’t be further from the truth. When done correctly, window treatments don’t affect the light at all and rather enhance the view instead of compete with it!
